Anyone faced with having the task of liquidating the personal property and contents of a home. Our satisfied clients have included Estate Executors, lawyers, businesses owners and individuals looking to obtain an apraisal for their personal property.
First and foremost, liquidating a household is a huge undertaking that can be both time consuming and emotionally overwhelming. We are always respectful of the property you entrust us with and care for it as it was our own.
We're Brokers, and we take the burden off you by setting up and conducting your estate sale. We have 20+ years of experience of conducting efficient and profitable estate sale and it starts with knowing the value of your items. All too often we see “hackers” out there who will sell your items for pennies on the dollar because they lack the knowledge of your valuables and their current worth. We have access to resources to research your items & market them to interested buyers. We maintain a strong network of loyal customers and collectors who are ready to purchase your items for a fair price! However, when we encounter an exquisite item of great value, we don’t hesitate to contact Sotheby’s, Christie’s or Heritage Auction Houses for their assistance in finding the right buyer.
The minute you find yourself with a household of items to sell. The more time you give us, the more options we can give you. If you are selling the house, you can:
1. Contact us prior to accepting a purchase offer. We work along with your realtor if the house is on the market while we are preparing to host a sale.
-or-
2. Contact us when you've accepted an offer on the house. There is usually a 4-6 week window of time between accepting an offer and the actual closing. Waiting will significantly impact the services we will be able to provide within the time frame you need to have the home vacated. Contacting us when you know you're accepting an offer, or even if that offer falls through, you are aware you have multiple offers. In other words, it's safe to say, the house will be sold.
It depends on the items left over. Totalē Estate Sales Company does not buy any of the items we sell. We believe that Pricing (or appraising) an item and then Buying that item is not only a Conflict of Interest, but unethical. We have options for you to select from and set forth an action plan to meet your needs. We offer a sub-contracted cleanout service which is provided for an additional fee that is separate from our estate sales commission fees.
Welcome to the Totalē Family!
It's time to hand us the keys and simply walk away so our team can do their job. When we come across personal photos, documents, awards & heirlooms that you may have left behind, we always set them aside for the family. We value those items ourselves, be assured, we would do the same for you.
